What a GEO quote needs to specify
Show the provider your website, priority services or product categories, languages, markets and available materials. Identify who can change templates, pages and analytics. Working with prepared data and direct CMS access differs from collecting facts from scratch or handing a task queue to an outside developer. Describe these dependencies before agreeing the scope.
For service businesses, useful inputs include actual service terms, team qualifications and approved implementation examples. Stores also need category, attribute, variant and catalogue-update rules. Where content needs expert approval, name the person who provides it. A count of AI drafts does not tell you how many verified pages will reach the website.
- Name priority pages and business areas rather than writing the whole website as one deliverable.
- Specify the markets and languages of each material.
- Separate editorial work, technical implementation and expert approval.
- Identify the access and source data the client team must provide.
What the current UPLIFY monthly package includes
The public UPLIFY GEO offer lists AI optimization of up to 500 priority products or pages within an agreed scope, 1-2 GEO landing pages, 5 category or service texts and 2 expert articles per month. Editing depth, verification and publishing order are agreed before payment. The catalogue ceiling is not a promise of 500 individually researched expert articles.
The offer also includes Schema.org recommendations and basic implementation where access exists and the markup reflects visible content. Analytics, reporting and the next work plan support decisions. This is not a contract for a number of AI citations or a ChatGPT position. Check the current service page and your agreed quote for the applicable scope.
| Work | Agree before starting | Check at acceptance |
|---|---|---|
| Priority pages | The page list and editing depth | Published facts and the agreed changes |
| Landing pages and articles | Topics, sources, languages and approval | Content accuracy and usefulness |
| Markup | Page types and template access | JSON-LD reflecting visible information |
| Reporting | Period, query set and metric definitions | Comparable evidence and the next plan |

Which costs need a separate line
Link building is billed separately in the current package. An external-content strategy and an actual placement are different deliverables: a team can identify topics and publishers without having paid for publication. Ask whether writing, editorial changes, coordination and another approval round are included in the particular placement quote.
Clarify outside development, tools, a deeper technical audit and missing source materials separately. These costs do not become included just because an offer says GEO. Do not compare a monthly team engagement with a software subscription without checking the difference. Software may monitor a query set while leaving website corrections and factual approval to you.
| Budget line | Question for the provider |
|---|---|
| External publication | Are the publisher and amount approved before payment |
| Additional development | Who implements the change and how is it estimated |
| Paid tool | Who pays, who owns access and is the tool needed for this task |
| New data or expert material | Who supplies the source and approves the public version |

Why a placement fee does not buy a recommendation
A paid publication has a specific deliverable: content on the agreed site under agreed conditions. It does not give you control over an AI answer. Check the content, attribution and disclosure; do not present commissioned copy as an independent review. Paid links need appropriate qualification rather than a scheme to pass ranking credit.
Google explicitly warns against inauthentic mentions and manipulative link schemes. A useful publication has value for its readers, verifiable facts and clear provenance. A quote for hundreds of repeated mentions without editorial work is not proof of visibility to the intended buyer. Discuss the content and risks before approving the spend.

How to accept the work and assess the outcome
Accept changes against a work list: what was published, which facts were corrected, which technical tasks were completed and how each was checked. Include page links, an owner and unresolved dependencies. An AI-answer screenshot can document an observation; it cannot establish delivery of the whole monthly plan or the arrival of new customers.
Keep work delivery separate from channel outcomes. Google's native Generative AI performance report can show impressions in AI Overviews and AI Mode; referrals and enquiries belong in their corresponding measurement systems. A controlled AI-query panel assesses only its defined conditions. It does not reveal the whole market or establish the causal contribution of every new page.
- Record the period and exact metric definitions.
- Keep repeat comparisons under equivalent conditions.
- Separate completed changes from pending access or approval.
- Do not substitute mentions or impressions for enquiries.

What to agree before paying
UPLIFY bills monthly and agrees the duration with you; shorter engagements are possible. Around 6 months is a planning guide for assessing progress, not a required term or a guarantee of growth. Payment arrangements, initial tasks, separate expenses and exit conditions should be understood before the first payment. A monthly headline alone does not establish the full contract terms.
Ask what deliverables you will receive during the next agreed period and how the team will choose the following priority. Use the same page list and conditions to compare quotes. If one team writes copy while another also implements changes and checks analytics, the two fees do not explain that difference on their own.

Where to start
Build the GEO budget from priority business areas, access and required source materials. Compare work scope, separate expenses and verification. For a UPLIFY quote, review the current GEO offer and discuss the needs of your website. A separate SEO/GEO audit can establish the starting diagnosis before the implementation plan.
Questions about GEO pricing
Is link building included in the $1,000 monthly fee?
No. Monthly billing; duration agreed. The current English-language UPLIFY GEO offer separates link building from the base monthly package. A strategy may define topics and publisher types, but publication spending is approved separately. Before starting, check who prepares the content, which editorial changes are included and what placement deliverable will be accepted. Paying does not guarantee an AI citation or recommendation.
Does the 500-page ceiling mean writing every page from scratch?
No. The public offer refers to agreed work on priority products or pages. Editing depth, factual checks and publication order are agreed before payment. Processing prepared catalogue fields is different from producing an individually researched expert article. The quote should therefore identify actual changes, sources and an acceptance owner, not only the maximum number of URLs.
Can I assess the package by counting ChatGPT recommendations?
Recommendation observations can form part of an agreed protocol, but they do not replace work acceptance. You need exact queries, platform, mode, language, date and comparable conditions. Answers can change. Check completed edits against pages and tasks; check impressions, referrals and enquiries in the appropriate data sources. A fixed recommendation count without these conditions is not a verifiable engagement outcome.
