Editorial policy. How we check sources.
UPLIFY uses AI for research, drafts, translation and technical checks. We distinguish supported facts from assumptions and keep source records and correction history. An AI-assisted label or an update date does not, by itself, mean that a person reviewed the content.
How we prepare content
We use two approaches: UPLIFY’s automated editorial workflow, which we call Owen, and team work with AI tools. The approach depends on the task, but an editorial thesis or a model answer does not replace a source.
An automated Owen plan requires live SerpApi results and DataForSEO demand data. The system downloads selected page text and keeps excerpts. It checks each URL separately: a reachable page does not prove that every statement is correct.
The automated Owen pipeline uses Claude Opus for the main draft and targeted AI review. The team may use other tools for other materials. A model name alone is not a quality mark.
Where facts come from
We prefer supplier documentation for platform rules, prices and technical capabilities. Case studies use our project records approved for publication. Search results help us find questions and sources; a snippet does not replace checking the page.
We describe SerpApi, DataForSEO, Search Console and other metrics within their sample: language, market, period and measurement method. Unavailable values are not converted to zero. Query volume in one market is not worldwide demand.
We mention partner status when it is verified and relevant to the topic. The status alone does not guarantee a client outcome.
Figures, cases and examples
A number must trace to a source or an internal record with evidence. We retain its period, currency, metric definition and context. A figure from a brief or editorial thesis is not verified simply because it appears in a draft.
We check a disputed figure against that case’s records. We do not transplant another project’s figures or rewrite an agreed result because one review lacks context. An unsupported new story, testimonial or outcome promise blocks publication.
We distinguish a real case, an illustrative example and a forecast. Assumptions and limitations belong alongside the claim. We remove client identification and private data when a publication must be anonymized.
Authorship and human review
A specialist assigned to an internal brief is not automatically the public author or reviewer. Without a recorded human contribution, the accountable author in structured data is the UPLIFY organization.
A person’s name, reviewedBy label or human fact-check date requires a recorded action by that person. An AI review and permission for an automated process are not equivalent to that record. We describe the preparation method without an invented personal signature.
Checks before and after publication
We check sources, figures, claim logic, originality and readability. Separate checks cover headings, metadata, JSON-LD, internal links and language-version parity. An automated Owen article is not published until its mandatory gates pass.
For page changes, we check narrow and wide layouts and available actions. After release, we check the public version. A passing test does not guarantee an error-free page or future search results.
We retain the original publication date. dateModified describes a content change, not a human fact-check. dateReviewed and reviewedBy are not added automatically. Materially outdated content may be temporarily removed from indexing until it is checked and corrected.
Correction history
Version 4.0: clarified preparation methods and rules for figures and dates. The completed guide and article refreshes are recorded in the 7 and 11 October entries.
Completed the review of the 17 then-existing blog articles in UA/RU/EN. Original publication dates and agreed case data were retained.
Completed the sequential refresh of nine practical guides in three languages. They are available again in the hub and for indexing.
Corrected three Owen articles on Google Ads structure, GEO/AI-SEO and Merchant Center. Nine guides were temporarily removed from indexing pending rewrites. Removed automatic personal attribution; moved Owen to live SerpApi + DataForSEO and Claude Opus.
