UPLIFY develops websites and ecommerce stores around a specific business journey. For stores, we compare Horoshop, Shopify, OpenCart and Shop-Express; company and service websites may use WordPress or another agreed solution. Structure, content, integrations, cost and acceptance criteria are defined before implementation.

Start with the task, not the CMS.

A platform name does not explain what a website must do. Product purchases and service enquiries need different journeys, especially for B2B buyers.

  • Online store: catalog, product selection, cart, payments and delivery.
  • Service website: clear offer, evidence of experience, enquiry or booking.
  • Existing website: targeted improvements or migration after reviewing what already works.

Complex web applications, portals and SaaS products need separate technical discovery. They are not part of a standard website launch merely because the request sounds similar.

A platform for your buying journey.

Compare catalog, content, market and maintenance requirements. Each option has its own page with project scope and constraints.

A tested website, ready for handover.

Acceptance follows agreed scenarios. Provider dependencies and tasks outside the project scope are recorded separately.

  • Priority pages work on phones and with keyboard controls.
  • An enquiry or order reaches its agreed recipient.
  • Required links, metadata and analytics events have been checked.
  • The owner receives access, instructions and outstanding dependencies.

How we work

  1. Brief and discovery

Identify buyers, goals, languages, data and required integrations. Review technical dependencies before estimating the project.

  2. Structure and design

Agree on pages, navigation and the mobile journey using your business's actual copy and materials.

  3. Implementation

Build agreed pages, content and integrations on staging. Record changes and outstanding dependencies.

  4. Acceptance and handover

Test the agreed scenarios, publish, repeat critical checks, then transfer access and instructions.

Cost and scope

Horoshop and Shopify pages show their agreed packages. Other options are estimated after the brief and dependency review. Team work does not automatically include every platform subscription, hosting cost or paid integration.

Separate costs

  • Platform subscriptions, domain and hosting.
  • Paid themes, extensions, apps and external services.
  • Content preparation and complex migration outside the agreed scope.
  • Ongoing support, advertising spend and optimization.

Our work and external costs are quoted separately. Additional work needs agreement before implementation.

Before work begins, we agree on pages, integrations, client materials, payment milestones and acceptance criteria. Timing depends on scope and access to content and accounts.

Questions before launch

How do you estimate cost and timing?

After the brief, we review required pages, materials, languages and integrations. The estimate describes a specific scope and acceptance criteria; third-party licenses and services are itemized separately. Timing depends on content, account access and approvals. We do not add new tasks to an invoice retrospectively. Before additional implementation, we agree on its effect on the budget and schedule so everyone works from the same plan.

Who prepares content and translations?

Before starting, we agree on what you provide and what UPLIFY prepares. Your business confirms products or services, prices, terms and image rights. AI can organize materials and draft content, but an editor checks facts and wording. Full translation, product photography and writing a large catalog are not automatically included in every project. Their scope is itemized before content preparation begins.

What SEO and GEO work is included in development?

We prepare query mapping for agreed pages, clear structure, metadata, canonicals, sitemap and appropriate JSON-LD. GEO preparation needs direct, verifiable answers about your business, offer and terms. This is a technical and content foundation, not a promise of rankings or AI citations. Ongoing optimization, external references and visibility measurement after launch are agreed as separate work rather than implied by a website build.

How do you test a website before handover?

Acceptance scenarios are agreed before implementation. We test priority pages on phones and desktops, navigation, forms, links and required integrations. A store adds the product-to-order journey; a service website adds an enquiry test. You receive a check record, access and outstanding dependencies. Sandbox and live payments are different checks. After publication, we repeat critical scenarios on the public website instead of treating a local mockup as launch evidence.

Can you migrate an existing website?

We first review exports, account access and the existing structure. We agree on which data and pages to keep and map old URLs to new ones. The scoped redirect plan helps prevent important links from leading nowhere. Search rankings are not guaranteed: platform and content changes affect discovery. Complex integrations and personal data transfers are assessed before work starts, rather than becoming an unexpected cost after payment.

Who maintains the website after launch?

We hand over access, instructions and a configuration record. Hosting, updates, backups and external services each need a named owner. A SaaS platform maintains its core, but content and configured processes still need ongoing attention. UPLIFY maintenance terms are agreed separately. New pages, redesigns and integrations do not become an unlimited part of a one-off build simply because our team originally created the website.
